Description
Reflection of my friend's backyard. He has some colored party lightbulbs hanging around there, and I took a picture of a blue one after noticing the reflection, earlier today around noon.I mirror-inverted the picture, so it shows the scene as it would look from the point of view of the lightbulb. I also adjusted the colors quite a bit, to increase the contrast of the reflection and remove much of the blue tint. Unfortunately, this introduced some noise artifacts. And it's cropped.
Maybe it just appeals to me, because I know the place... but I like the colors and mood of the result.

Now THIS is a concept that appeals to me...Well done! I kind of wish the image wasn't cropped, as I see some worth in "the whole sphere" (I have no idea why). This kind of reminds me of those magical crystal balls that are supposed to tell you fortunes and stuff. XD Perhaps you can take on this concept and have different things in the reflection (I would do an eye)...

Thanks
I cropped it because there was some text printed on the bottom of the bulb, and the upper part didn't look good, either (it's not really a sphere).
I plan to buy some kind of reflective sphere, so I can take better shots similar to this one. The reflection of an eye would be difficult, though... you'd need to get really close to the sphere, and then... where would the camera be? ^^ I think this kind of shot is good to compress the whole environment (technically, it's the half of the environment where the camera is located) into one picture. There are "fish eye" wide angle lenses which can do the same without having to use the reflection trick, but they're way too expensive!

Oh, I see. XD Well, that makes sense, lol.
I know! You could get a friend to stand really close to the sphere and you could take the picture of the eye! XD That so works haha. But I'd really like to see more of these types of pictures. They're more interesting than straight-on ones...Haha, but don't spoil the effect by taking gazillions of these shots. One of the most annoying things in a gallery is the same (type of) picture over and over...
And - those fish eye lenses are so not worth it...I'd just take a bunch of pictures, stick them together, and use photoshop for the digital effect! XD

Hmm, I don't think it's THAT easy in photoshop! At least not if it should look perfect. And don't worry, I never stay interested in the same thing for too long, so I won't submit too many of those shots, if I make them at all!

Haha, last time I used it, I just had to press "apply" to a filter. XD If there's anything easier than that, I don't know what it is!
Lol. Good. I like to put a bunch of different stuff on my page. Randomness is quite nice. XD
