Description
I was going to take macro photos of insects again this evening, but those clouds looked nice, too. Unfortunately they approached rather quickly and I had to hurry home before I could take a lot of pictures.Taken with the 10-22 at 10 mm with a polarizing filter, then some cropping. Not quite sure about the filter, it made the sky blue almost too dark in the center. I like the effect, but I probably shouldn't overdo it.
Wide angle is fun, even though the distortion in the corners can be a bit extreme, just look at the tree in the lower left corner.

Nice shot, I can see the effect of polarizing filter as I've photoed sky without it. I also have a 10-22 lense (Canon EF-S one), but haven't yet bought a polarizer.

Thanks Make sure you buy a slim one... I noticed that when I stack the ordinary (UV) filter and the polarizing filter, the corners of the picture will become dark. So even though I have a slim filter, I have to exchange the UV filter for the polarizing filter all the time... it's a bit annoying. Also, the slim filter doesn't have a thread, so I can't even put a lens cap on when it's on the lens :/

Distortion = GOOD !! Don't be JUST a Photographer !! Be a PICTURE MAKER !! Or at least let the wide angle do the work for you
