Personality
Minimum of 3 positives and 3 negative traits.
+ Intelligent -
As Frost was growing she found an interest in the remedies the passing loners would tell her small family and found herself learning them very quickly.
+ Hard-working -
Because her brothers always out shined her with their strength and speed she had to work harder to be as useful as her brothers. This includes taking tasks other wolves didn't want to take which were gathering herbs, identifying where herds of prey were, taking care of pups, etc.
+Open minded -
Frost met many loners and wolves which brought many ideas and differing opinions within her own head yet she never refused a story even if it were from the most violent of wolves.
= Bubbly attitude -
When Frost doesn't know a wolf she's very used to trying to get to know the wolf as soon as possible. This is due to the lack of control on how many wolves she met when she was a pup and never met a wolf she thought was pure evil. Because of this she will be bubbly and warm to any new comers.
= Adventurous
Because of the stories Frost was told and her open minded mind set, she loved the idea of adventuring into the unknown and learning even more about the vast world. This will often make her wander around the territory she resides in looking for new plants or new animals she didn't see previously.
= Playful
To her, she's always been the more playful wolf in her family. Nobody else wanted to adventure, play fight or play hide and seek while she was growing up so she'd often play with butterflies. This went away when she grew up and she often played with the other pups her parents pack had.
- Weak willed
Because she was raised with two brothers, she was rarely talked to about her opinions on a matter so if somebody asked her she would blurt out her opinion without thinking. This caused few wolves to talk to her because of how often she became indecisive.
- Thin skin (bad at taking criticism)
Being spoiled as a pup she never had criticism until she was around 1 year old when her brothers were caught protecting their sister and when the parents found out, they argued with Frost about how she shouldn't be wasting time with herbs. This didn't sit well with her and every time she talked to a wolf who said the same thing she got angry very easily at the criticism.
- Gullible
Stories made Frost believe almost anything a wolf told her, they all seemed real to her and she couldn't say the wolves were lying in case they were telling the truth so she always took a wolf's word. After a while of this she became very gullible and doesn't realize it.
- Distracted
Growing up she wasn't able to focus on the tasks given to her, she was always distracted by what she imagined in her head and couldn't learn how to properly hunt or fight.
Pregroup History: (Since she's only 3 years old I can't really write much)
As a pup, young Frost was a very adventurous pup and loved to listen to other wolves stories about the lands and wolves around. Some of which consisted of the valley packs, the one that intrigued her the most though was the pack of Highmountain. This made her mind fill with many ideas on what the packs outside her parents looked like. Her parents had a nice portion of dry forest but prey was getting scarce. Would prey get scarce in the valley packs? The valley wasn't too far away from her parents land. Just a day or two's journey she thought. Most days she would find herself thinking and setting up ideas on what the packs would look like, especially Highmountain pack. Why were they called Highmountain? Did they live among the rocks in the mountains, if so wasn't that dangerous? She burst with excitement at the idea and pulled at her brothers who were listening in to the leader's meeting but only got told to stop being too much like a pup and grow up. Why couldn't she be a pup while she could and have brothers who weren't so, so grown up? Her oldest brother, Shabe had shown strength within 5 moons of being a pup. His light brown coat and darker brown belly and paws made prey mistake the wolf for dirt or mud when he hid in it. This of course made Shabe able to hide and kill a squirrel very easily. The entire pack was proud and his parents showed favor to him, even saying he was to be the alpha some day. She was happy for her brother and excited to hear he would be alpha some day. Her brother, Daele, on the other paw had a black pelt like their mothers and showed intelligence like Frost but not in the same way as her. He would often attend the alpha's meetings with his delta's and beta's and listen in on the plans for attacks and hunting. Because of this, he learned many strategies and at 8 moons he nosed his way into the meeting and lay out his thoughts on an attack the pack had planned. For this, one of the beta's took him under his wing and started to teach him how to become one of the beta's. This all made her very happy but she never got any attention or praise if she had done something she deemed fantastic. Redriver, her parents pack, was too focused on training its young future leaders. This often made the younger pup, Frost, lonely and lead to many adventures in the forest. All from playing with butterflies to meeting foxes and coyotes in the territory. A moon or two passed and her pack was getting skinnier and skinnier. Her brothers were older now and participating in hunts as well as battle training. Shabe was turning out to be double Frost's size and becoming a very strong wolf, Daele wasn't as big as his bigger brother but nearly there. Daele was turning out to be very quick minded when coming up with much needed immediate battle or hunting advice. Frost wasn't growing much, she was tiny compared to her brothers and struggled to keep up with them. She was always told she was the runt of the litter but didn't expect to be as small as she was. She was two times the size of a pup but her brothers were the size of adults already. Oddly enough she kept thinking of the stories she would hear about Highmountain and continue to act like a pup, acting like how she imagined them to be. Strong, large and tough looking wolves. Wolves that she looked up to. She would do anything to meet even one wolf from the pack and that she did. Late at night she heard talking and snuck out to see a large loner being led to a den by her father. Once her father left, she quickly raced to the loner and was shocked to see the loner wasn't as big as she imagined." I know you're here little one." Flattening her ears she went into the den and saw that her first glimpse had been false. The loner was giant yet weak from hunger and gazing down at her with amusement." Why are you awake and coming to visit me so late?" Excitedly she blurted out what she had been wanting to ask," are you from the valley packs?" The large loner gave an amused look," no but I witnessed them. Why do you ask little one?" Barely able to keep her excitement to herself she jumped from paw to paw," did you see Highmountain? What were they like? Were they strong and big? What was their territory like?" Feeling the loners tail brush over her muzzle the loner gave out a laugh laying down." You love to ask questions don't you little one?" Pausing he continued after thinking," yes, they were big wolves. Strong and very welcoming to loners like myself however I didn't stay. I can't stay in one place. I have to adventure the territories. Their territory was of course mountains. How they live there I'm not sure but snow covered the territory everywhere. When it snowed, only their eyes could be seen because their pelts almost all consisted of black to white but the snow coated them and made them so hard to spot." Amazed she sat down and listened intently to the older wolf." Yes, they were very strong but smart as well and strived to be the best." Confused she tilted her head," what do you mean? Did they strive to be the best hunters or fighters?" The bigger wolf sighed," no little one. They were determined to be the best pack wolves had ever seen and they have the perfect territory as well as wolves to very well become the best. Though I may be exaggerating a bit." Pausing he gave Frost a confused look," you should be asleep, go back to your den so that I can rest. I've traveled a long way and I don't want to talk anymore to a pup what I've seen." About to speak, Frost was shooed out the den and back to her brothers sides. As she went back to her own den she thought about what the wolf said.'Strong and very welcoming to loners.' Excited she could do nothing but stay up every night and imagine the eyes he had told her about. How when it snowed you only saw their eyes.
Moons passed and the prey was getting scarcer. She had yet to shown any interest in hunting or fighting like her larger brothers, this of course made them very angry with her." Be useful and go out and hunt! Staying up in your head all day and looking at prey's food isn't helpful to this pack!" She would often get. It would hurt her and end up making her blurt something out along the lines of," at least I'm not a pup trying to act mature and old! I have fun unlike you!" She hated when her brothers picked on her and told her to work. She tried, but being 14 moons and barely being able to hunt or fight made her useless to her pack. She tried learning more about hunting and fighting from the other wolves but her mind was focused on the stories she was told. She learned very quickly that she was to be the lowest rank in the pack and nothing more which hurt but she knew it was the truth. She couldn't focus on anything except learning from loners what prey's food, herbs, did to wolves when they were sick and it amazed her. If a wolf in her pack became sick she would adventure into her parents territory and bring back prey's food loners told her about to help the sick wolf. This in turn made the wolves talk about her behind her back and rumors spread that she was trying to get the pack to eat prey's food instead of the kills they hardly ever got. Up until 26 moons she ignored the rumors. One harsh winter day her brothers had called her into one of the leadership meetings. A moon earlier her mother and father fell to dying of old age and left the leadership of the pack in Shabe's paws with Daele at his side. Her brothers stared at her with seriousness that chilled her to the bone." Frost, how many hunts have you gone on?" Confused she shifted her paws," maybe four or five." Whispers broke out among the wolves. Shabe growled and the cave filled with silence." How many battles for our territory have you been in?" Flattening her ears she felt embarrassed," none but I-" she was immediately silenced by Shabe's growling as he looked at his beta, Daele." Has it been decided then?" Daele nodded and stepped forward in the circle of wolves." Frost you are to be banished from Redriver." Her eyes widened and fear clenched her." What?!" Daele growled," you are to never be seen on this territory again. You will be chased off the territory and are to not return. Any wolf from Redriver will be told to kill you if seen." Shaking she ran out of the cave and ran as fast as she could keeping her tail tucked as she was chased. Pain flared in her heart from her brothers sudden actions and caused her to push on and run to the edge of the territory. Stopping well past the border she sat down and fell in the snow that was falling. She had no pack, no family.' Kill you if seen.' Feeling her eyes heat up she put her paws on her muzzle and did her best to be strong at least emotionally. Shaking her head she got up and slowly wandered off into the unknown land. A moon had passed since she was banished off her territory and she did nothing but lay in the open and feel a longing for her family." Where do I go?" Heading to a nearby river she saw a reflection of herself and saw it change into a bigger, stronger version of her with bright eyes.' Strong and very welcoming to loners like myself.' The loners words from moons ago rang in her ears and she felt excitement burst in her." Highmountain!" Turning immediately she ran for as long as she could. Searching her way around the thick forest for the territory. Meeting wolves, she would often follow their direction and saw tall mountains in the horizon. She was wrong when she thought it only took a day or two to get across to the territory. The land was riddled with caves and cracks in the ground as well as ponds and rivers. A moon or two would pass and she would have to search for another loner to point her into the right direction. Due to her now becoming a loner she had learned slowly how to catch small prey like squirrels, mice and sometimes rabbits but not deer. She grew as well and was amazed to see how much she was. She was the size of an average wolf and 40 moons old by the time she reached the bottom of the mountains. Excited she searched and searched for the way up the mountain but failed each time until she noticed that more and more loners were coming to the mountains as well." Why are you here?" She would always ask," to join Highmountain." She never talked any more to the loners that adventured into the mountains after until one male came along." Why are you here?" The dark wolf looked at her confused," I've come to join one of the valley packs. Not sure which one but they're all pretty easy to find anyways." Brightening she stopped the wolf from continuing into the valley." Do you know where Highmountain is?" The darker wolf rolled his eyes before tossing his head to the other side of the valley. Feeling hope in her she dipped her head before racing into the valley. Amazed at the territory around her she saw rivers and forests in the valley. Being careful to stay away from the other valley packs territory she looked up at the big mountain she was headed for and felt nothing but excitement. Snow and lots of it. She would hopefully see a wolf when she found the border. She longed to see if the eyes in the falling snow were true. Running with new hope in her she arrived at the middle of the mountain a moon or two since she had been at the other side of the valley. Grumbling she looked up to see snow was beginning to fall heavily and looked around to see no caves or trees nearby. Shuddering she continued on in the cold and searched for the border with her half frozen nose. Shaking she fell in the snow with exhaustion and felt her conscious slip as she looked into the snowstorm seeing blurry eyes staring at her. Feeling herself fade she fell unconscious and heavily asleep until she awakened to what she felt as a paw poking her. Looking up she saw the bright sky and a brown wolf staring down at her with yellow eyes. Quickly she got up and crouched down to the ground as she looked amazed at the wolf in front of her. Seeing a much darker wolf next to the brown wolf she felt her eyes widen as she saw the large and strong wolves staring at her," this is Highmountain territory. Why are you here?" The brown wolf asked as she looked between the two," I-I wanted to come join! I heard many stories about this pack and was banished from my pack across the mountains-" quickly hushing she recalled her brothers and looked at her paws." Follow us." Looking up she felt her heart skip and fill with glee and excitement as if she were a pup again. Shakily she got up and began to follow the pair through the high snow and looked around in amazement. She would finally have a place to be! Determined to show her knowledge in prey's food she followed close behind in shock.
