so like here's my submission for 's contest ^^y>.> it was really hard to choose a pokemon to go with fayt...
in any case this is...uh...quilava, i think was its name.
also, tried a new approach at doing flames ^^ kinda liked it. and did burn-style shadowing cuz ...well, since i was doing that for the flames, i figured id just do it on the thing.

WhatΒ΄s the point of joining a PokΓ©mon tournament with a fire PokΓ©mon when your Fayt might actually be able to out-do it? He might actually go after the other trainer himself.

You have a knack for motion that I haven't seen in a lot of artists. Perhaps that is what so attracted me to this piece. :3 And I do the same thing with pieces - not altering them, I mean. I like to use old pieces as references to mark improvement. If I keep fixing them, it feels like I haven't gotten anywhere and bogs down the creative juices in my brain. |3

I've actually stumbled across old sketches I did in the seventh grade, back when I thought my art was cool beans. I nearly had a heart attack. No sense of anatomy, moment, placement, coloring... It. Was. FAIL. It did, however, make me feel a little better about my art today. |D

hmmm....can't really see anythin myself, but bein brutal i could say that Quilava looks a tad out of proportion, and there's somethin about fayt's left shoulder...but then i'd just be picking holes in somethin for the helluvit
