Description A male knifejaw watches his kingdom

-------

This knifejaw, unlike most of its kin, is social. They live in prides of 4 or 5, usually, with one male and multiple females. The male is larger and more decorated than the females, and protects the group from other males, while the females hunt.

In the sky are several swallow like quadaves flit around, while a larger griff flies after something.

Lovely scene, .
One thing I might add, though, is a few herbivores in the distance.

Yeah. I thought about doing that. I'm not sure why I didn't.

Doesn't matter though, what's done is done, and it looks great anyway .

Thanks! I think I'll do a plains view sometimes with all the animals I've covered yet.

Yes. I've still got some to cover though. I'm thinking grazing alloduikers.

That sounds awesome! Grazing alloduikers would just work on so many levels (I think I may be getting a little over-excited).

Thanks! I think alloduikers and xenoequids compete in a lot of niches.

The male reminds me a lot of a griffon.
I like the silhouettes of the quad aves and griff.

Thanks. They are rather griffon-y. But they aren't he griffon-y-est.
