My mind was flaring and the first thing that caught my attention was my Arwing model sitting on my shelf. I came to an epiphany, and saw what it would look like if it really could transform. check this link for a real life stop motion animation of it's transformation. [link]
After giving the original sketch color, I also digitally added a background of Corneria.

What would be the Cybertronian arwings name be? Something along the lines of "Skyblade"? Or maybe "Starblitz"?

hmm. not sure. never gave it much thought. i figure this guy would be named Starwing (as a call out to the original title of Star Fox released in Europe) i think it follows along the lines of aerial cybertronian names like Starscream, Sunstorm, Wing Saber and Sky Lynx.

Star Fox developers did take a lot of inspiration from the unreleased Star Fox 2 to make later titles, and a big part of that game was a Transforming Arwing. so who knows? ^^

I like the design, a friend's request I did a mini lego model of an Arwing Transformer once.

they do feel very good together; starfox and Transformers.. after seeing what the Aparoids were capable of in SF Assault ie General Pepper's flagship, i could help but think of the possibilities of an infected Arwing, which led to the idea of a Cybertronian with an Arwing alt form. [link]

it would be cool if soemthing like this happened in the Star Fox canon, where a Next gen Arwing was ablt to Transform!

in the unreleased Star Fox 2 for the SNES, there was going to be a Transformable Arwing that converts to ground mode. of course the game was halted to make room for the upcoming Star Fox 64 and eventually the layout of the game became Star Fox Command years later.

I always thought of what it would be like if there were a Star Fox/Transformers crossover were Fox Mccloud and the Star Fox team would meet and team up with Optimus Prime and the Autobots against the Decepticons.
