The title has a story behind it.
As a kid, I loved Megaman. Played 1, 2, and 3 if I recall. I'm pretty sure I was very bad at it but had fun none the less. Back then I was still learning how to read and could never get the characters names right. So I knew NONE of the robot masters. Hell, I don't think I even remembered Megaman's name. I either called him "the blue guy" or "the blue bomber". I must've had some talent for I was able to make it to Protoman (I have no idea which stage though) at some point. I could tell he was a 'bad guy' by his appearance and the fact that HE WAS SHOOTING AT ME. Of course my five-year-old brain couldn't think of his name so I simply dubbed him "Meanie Britches"
Here in the south, britches is a common term for pants. So he's "meanie pants" to you yankees.
