just doodlin' (´ω｀)TBH, I got this really horrible impulse one night to draw Prince Phillip (Aurora just came with him). Disney owns my soul, so this happens often haha;; Rewatched some Sleeping Beauty and 1. DAAAAMN, Phillip. You can randomly join my private bouts of singing anytime :M he's so classically handsome ftw (no I'm serious. look at him. an insanely gorgeous physique~)
2. Phillip's face actually looks like a grown-up Peter Pan in the movie. A little weird, derp. (but no complaints)
yup. Again, attempted to colour, but it looked horrible, so it's in b/w for now. Might try again later :m

You know what's funny? I used to think like everyone else about the three "Classic Disney Princesses." I thought they weren't adventurous like the other ones. But after reading different articles about them, I've realized that they're more well rounded than I thought. If they were in our world, they could be veterinarians, vegetarians, environmentalists, or do something in interior design. Now I have a higher respect for them. I'm even going to make them more well rounded in my future books.

To see an art piece with both Aurora and Phillip is rare, but to see one that isn't heavily inspired by official images is rarer. I do love what you have done and I hope you get the courage to go back and color it. Well done. ^^

(I also like to find some variety of styles when it comes to fanart, especially when it seems as though everyone wants to duplicate the "Disney" aesthetic. It's a nice change of pace! idk)

Although Belle is my favorite princess... Phillip is my favorite prince. This is really lovely and you totally captured the fact that he's a total hunk. I'm pretty sure this is my first Sleeping Beauty fave

This is really "non-disney"...but in a good good way! Their body positions and facial expressions are awesome. I like how it is unique, and yet without a doubt you know who they are.

by "really non-disney," do you mean the style? I'm sorry for the lack of cartoony-ness! I've taken too many life art drawing classes, mah bad, so when I randomly doodle, it's a bit more realistic than not;; pretend they are the costumed people at Disneyworld~

I'm not sure. It's much more human than disney I think...it isn't the lack of cartoony-ness, but the presence of reality. (If that makes sense) It's hard to imagine disney characters being THIS. I think it's a great interpretation! And I won't pretend they are costumed. They are, instead, the real thing!
