Description So I pretty much ended up remaking the entire breakdown version of the Hildebrandt from scratch. The differences? More parts, as well as having hollowed it out a bit better. I am aiming to get this particular version printed (12 inch model (equivalent to a 1/60) that hopefully isn't too pricy). I'm currently having a 7 inch statue of the Hildebrandt printed out locally. Depending on how that goes (Total cost: $170), we'll see about rolling this one out.

This particular version of the breakdown features fully articulated hands and fingers. Peace signs and middle fingers all around!

looks great! this looks like it's modeled for injection molding rather than 3D printing (which isn't a bad thing) but it doesn't take advantage of that manufacturing method. Β It's clear you have a ton of Gunpla experience though lol
I look forward to seeing it rendered in plastic

Watch it. When you get things printed from companies sometimes in the fine print it states that that model and its likeliness is forfeit.

It's all good. This is a local company in my town that does 3D printing. No fine print stated that its likeness, or the model itself was forfeit of my ownership (And if it was, they did not inform me; I was not made to sign any documents or waivers or anything like that). The first impression was good and I trust them.

I took some minor precautions anyways; provided copies of the files (keeping the original timestamped ones on my PC), uploaded them to the 3D warehouse as private files and made sure my name was showing as the author for the file.

Aye. Actually went through the model and finished converting all of the joints to smoother faces. I think I went from 288-face spheres to 2000-face spheres for the ball joints; very laggy, but it works!
