Description Okay, so I scrapped my old Nameless Mecha design and put my Red Feng design found in my Dev ID on hold. I wanted to work on my sketch up skills a bit more, and the result of that tinkering and hard work is this; the RMF-Os95 Duke!

Ball Joints were an easy way to go for this machine, and even though they're simple it came out pretty good. It's got a bunch of pop-up equipment and weapons I'll post in a montage later. Suffice to say, it's my first completely and completed original design in Google Sketch-up.

Duke was just a name I dubbed it with when I started working on it, and it kind of just stuck. Now that I've fleshed out a story and world behind it, I plan on making other mecha within the same universe, each with a title of royalty. Consider this the first of (hopefully) many.

Comments and questions would be greatly appreciated, considering this is my first completed sketch-up design.

EDIT: Forgot to add that the fingers on the Duke's hands come from Illsteir's Daeg Hagal II design. Still not up to the task of making my own, though I did manage to make the rest of the hands. Everything else aside from that was made by me from scratch.

I'm thinking of using your design as the mobile suit for my OC in a Mobile Suit Gundam 00 fanfiction I plan on writing. Is that okay? If it is, I'll be sure to credit you.

If you want to, go ahead. It's a pretty old model though, so its proportions are kinda wonky.

If you want, you can download it here: [link]

Great work! It really came out good especially the details of the ankle joints and feet.

Thanks. I pretty much did what I did for my first attempt's feet, but simplified it. Was also using the Daeg Hagal II's foot as a shape reference, though I didn't get like how I initially wanted it. Still turned out decent, though. D:

Wow and I thought I was good with sketchup you have to give me lessons one day to make my mesh look cleaner.

Lol, I don't even know what meshes are. I'm still very new to this stuff, and it's only thanks to Illsteir's help through his designs that I've been able to produce something like this.
