So I just finished Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes about a week ago. Manliest game ever. I salute you, Snake. Now I'm playing on Extreme for the true Tactical Espionage Action experience. I'm stuck at the jailbreak scene with Meryl. X(I started this on Thursday, and managed to finish Friday night, with just enough time to print it and get a good night's sleep before Otakon. when I printed it out, it looked WAYYY darker than I had expected, but I really didn't have time to tweak it and get drive back to the print shop. I entered it in the auction anyway, and wouldn't you know it, it did better than all my other submissions.
It hit $50 after six bids, and went into super-mega-auction mode on Sunday. I don't know how much it closed out for... I guess I'll find out when they send me the check.You know that Codec conversation with Nastasha, where she lectures you about the hazards of smoking? I imagine Snake must be pretty frustrated, having to smuggle his cigarettes into the mission in the first place... and then if he uses them, they deplete his health bar. Poor Snake.

Never played the twin snakes or the original MGS (Played 2 3 and 4 but, 3 was awesome!), I guess smoking does help him from freaking out after all the killing and stuff he's went though, Awesome work!

Even in the enemy's territory he finds the time for smoke his lil' cigarette... that demonstrates why he is so cool

So I'm in the middle/end of Snake Eater... and I'm a complete metal gear fan now. Hours of Codec conversations- and I never skipped ONE. HAH.
Lets say the MGS2 is awesome for the 1/4th of the time you're playing as Snake, and then meh for the Raiden parts. MGS3 doesn't really push the story any more because its back when Big Boss (Snake's daddy clone) is just a wee soldier. I'm really craving some MGS4 now. T_T
