I'm really pumped about The Dark Knight, so I suppose I've had Batman on the brain a lot lately... that would explain why I came up with this.So I was playing Brawl the other day, and I noticed that the bat symbol on Meta Knight's cape looks oddly reminiscient of the Batman logo... MK has those bat wings, too... and the dark, rough voice...
Hmm...
So, the next thing I know, I have this image in my head. It took about an hour to color everything, and another hour for all the composition of the text and "logo". The clouds are from some photos I took in D.C.

how did you make the light on the logo?

Um...I really don't remember.
However, here's what I would do if I wanted to do it again:
I take the polygon lasso, made a starburst shape. Take that shape and blur it using Gaussian Blur. Then add a color overlay to it, in this case w/ a light blue. And there you go!

I can't think off the top of my head, just try a few different blending modes in Photoshop. There's one called Overlay, or you could try Color or Soft / Hard Light.

And thinking about this makes me think of a 'Meta Knight Begins' , with Zero (One eyed creepy white ball guy) -in the place of Ra's al Ghul- spreading Dark Matter across Dream Land like the fear toxin. I don't know, but you, , have created something fantabulous that just might happen in the future.
