Description
Just some quick concept sketches of the enemy species in my story idea.Species name: Verdolstrix
Average height: about 9 feet tall
Average weight: give or take 200 lbs, depending on diet.
They are larger and more aggressive than the other owl aliens, and sometimes prey on them as a food source.
While Species #1 (currently known as Malfeants) are a matriarchal society with wardrobes inspired by ancient Greek and Nordic clothing, the Verdolstrices are more of a high-tech Viking group.

Oh good! I was hoping he'd be scary. Have you ever seen pictures of baby Horned Owls? They're like the most evil-looking and yet adorable animals ever. And they look perpetually scandalized, like something has just shocked them.

Well, the little Verdolstrix girl with the doll is kind of cute, but she'll probably grow up scary too.
