Name: Mikaboshi Bakou
Age: 1200 years
Lineage: mortal and divine...
Side: demons
Powers: described below...

History:

One fateful night under the full moon, during a divination, a priestess went into a trance and fell unconscious. Her soul went to the realm of the gods, in search of blessings to ask from the divine ones... but she was unlucky enough to meet Amatsu Mikaboshi, the Japanese god of Evil... with deep, red eyes that stared at her. Of course, the god was surprised to encounter a mere mortal in the realm, and thought that the priestess possessed mystic powers to be able to transcend realities... and she did. Having no second thoughts, Amatsu Mikaboshi held the priestess tight, and extracted a swirling orb from her spirit. With his powers, he endowed the glowing orb with his own divinity, and the magic sphere began to take shape... into a child. With her soul weakened, she could only look with closing eyes, as the God of Evil walked away with their "son", then everything went black. Waking up, she found herself back in the human world, as weak as in her dream. From then on, she never attempted to divine again... but in her sleep, she would sometimes dream of a child that would always smile at her, with red eyes that seemed oddly familiar... and she would have this feeling of closeness with that child she never knew before.

The child would also visit the dreams of others... doing mischief and such. Because of this, the people named him "Bakou" or "Baku", after the creature of Japanese mythology, that means "eater of dreams". He would still continue to visit his mother in her dreams from time to time, year after year, though he wouldn't say who he was.

Being the son of the God of Evil, he naturally inherited a sadistic nature, but he has a conscience, which he got from his mom. He was "born" 1200 years ago, but as a mortal... which means he ages... until he discovered his power to go from dream to dream or reality. It all happened when he wandered into the dream of an explorer, who, in his dream, discovered the fountain of youth. Bakou knocked out the explorer, and drank from the fountain himself, thereby locking his age for all eternity. Another dream he trespassed into was that of a blacksmith, who dreamed of his masterpiece: a curved blade that was huge, yet light as a feather, nearly unbreakable, and never dulls. He waited for the blacksmith to leave, then stole the beautiful creation. The next dream he went to belonged to an alchemist. In his dream, the alchemist has perfected the art of alchemy: the Philosopher's Stone. Bakou knocked the alchemist unconscious, then attempted to take the stone, but it was too powerful. He instead broke it into pieces, took a few shards that he could tolerate, ate one, and destroyed the rest. The piece he ate gave him a fearful regenerative ability. Of the shards he took, he infused one of them into his moonblade, which made it repair itself the same way Bakou heals; and the other shards he made into a necklace, which amplifies his original powers.

Powers:

* To some extent, he can manipulate space and time, but can only use it in the netherplane to travel from one dream to another, or from dreams into reality.
* He regenerates... quite quickly...
*Being "born" during a full moon, he gained a spiritual connection with it. This made him a daywalker, unlike other monsters of the dark. It also made him immune to psychic abilities, and can stun and chill with a stare...as the moon is believed to make other people insane.
* Because he is the son of a god, fate and destiny no longer apply to him, because he decides his own. His father made him slightly immune to light and dark magic. The shards made him immune to time abilities.
* Whenever there is the moon in the sky, he can become invisible wherever moonlight touches the earth.
* As the moon gets larger with each phase, his strength and speed grow with it adding to his already enhanced physical abilities as the son of a god... and during a full moon, he is at his best... where he can really be called "godlike".
* During a solar eclipse, he transforms into a total demon. Aside from the fact that it is a full moon, his strength is tripled, but he loses his mind and conscience, and thus goes on a rampaging killing spree... HE DOES NOT LIKE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENS... so every solar eclipse, he chains and locks himself up in his chamber in Hell... that is, unless of course, he is freed.

Other Facts...

*Doesn't eat, sleep, or breathe... he's an entity, for goodness' sake! But he has been found to hunt down beasts for enjoyment... then feasting on them later. His favorite targets are dragons and werewolves.
*Don't bother to slice, dice, or cut him... it would be like thrusting a sword through water because of how fast he regenerates.

Weaknesses:

* The moon... when there is no moon in the sky, he cannot turn invisible, and at his average speed and strength.
* During a Lunar Eclipse, his powers related to the moon disappear.
