For those who are unfamiliar with this costume, this is a custom set of Mandalorian armor I built pretty much from the ground up, with a lot of help from my cosplay group, of course! Now that I'm official, I plan on using this costume to apply for the Assassin Brigade of the Mandalorian Mercenaries Costume Club, once I get some upgrades worked out and some things readjusted.
I was so excited to wear this costume to the recent photoshoot we had in Orlando, though throughout the day it really sunk in just how many upgrades I still need to do before I'm really happy with it. Regardless of the state of the kit, I had a total blast! Thanks again to all of the photographers who made it out to take pics of us!
Also in this shot are two Mando friends of mine, Danny Gonz in the purple/black andΒ Kyle Kraljevich in the orange/black.

Yeah, I've poured a good chunk of money into making this costume, but it's easily one of my best ones, and worth about every cent.

Most of it, yes, though I had a lot of help from my group. My fiance did any work that needed to be done to my soft parts, and a couple other friends helped me out when I needed it throughout the build. Aside from that though, I built most of the costume. The helmet I modded from a cheap costume Jango helmet into what you see there, the armor plates are all cut out from PVC sheet, and the blastsword was made from scratch out of MDF and pvc pipe pieces. The blaster I modded out of an old laser tag pistol.
