Ah, there she is... Stormfall! One of my favorite Keyblades that Aqua has at her disposal, and my first ever woodworking attempt! I had this conworthy back in Shadocon, which was in November. I unfortunately neglected to post any pictures of it afterward, so here's one for you now!This Keyblade was built for 's Aqua cosplay, which is amazing btw! Check her profile or my favorites to see more!
I say "conworthy" and not "finished" because as you might be able to tell, it's not quite finished. It still has a few details to be added, and could use a couple paint touch-ups, but nevertheless I'm extremely proud of it!
As always, questions, comments, and critiques are welcome, bearing in mind that this IS a WIP.

I do not take credit for the original design of Stormfall, a Keyblade used by Aqua in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep.

You should be proud of it, it is incredible! This is one of my favorite keyblades too. I actually like the simpler design of it. (Not that is would be simple to make with all those sharp angles and triangular shapes ^^) So wonderful! I really hope you make more. Are you still doing some on commission?

Glad you enjoy it! More will be made in the future, although all I can really promise right now is Way to Dawn, look it up, it's gonna be such a pain in the ass, lol. There's also another one that Skitty wants, Destiny's Embrace. That one will be handy because she can use it for both Aqua and Kairi, two props for the price of one! I also plan on making Squall's gunblade and Rinoa's pinwheel weapon, probably before the keyblades. The keyblade commission I mentioned earlier never actually fell through, though I have been commissioned to make a scythe for my friend's Hidan cosplay. That looks like it will be interesting, lol!

Wow, you certainly have some projects coming up. I can't wait to see Rinoa's. And a commission! Please post pics! I actually love seeing the WIP as much as the finished project. I think you may have found your nitch of work.

Thanks Rose! I never actually got round to posting any of the WIP pictures I have of the scythe, but it's done now and I'll be posting that soon! If you really want the WIP pictures I can still send them to you if you want!

Yeah, I just get so caught up working that I forget to stop and snap a pic. I'm getting more into the habit now that I'm working with the Mandalorian Mercenaries on Mandalorian armor for me and some friends. WIP pics are kind of a must to avoid screwing something up, especially since none of us really have much idea what we're doing. And all has indeed been well!
