[Click here for the tutorial!]Material overrides allow you to modify some elements of a texture without effecting the original material. Can really come in handy. For instance, for this picture, overrides were used to make the horn glow (though effects were used to make the light much brighter) and the extra wings used overrides to lighten their color for each receding layer.
I will have a non-text version of the picture used here up in the next few days.

So I'm trying to do a vector 3 $color. But instead of showing me the 3 numbers, it just show me the default color picker.
How can I fix that please ?

What the Element Viewer has uses for is so spread around, it would be difficult. It is more of a supplementary tool that adds extra control, but without a pretty UI.
