Description It was raining endlessly a while back (and fittingly there've been some pretty bad storms these last few days) and I wanted something warm and comfy to counteract that, so this is Holmes and Watson taking care of a very cold and wet Inspector, after he got soaked in a sudden downpour.
A fire, tea and good company pretty much cure all cold- and rain-related ills

Edit I: It's so blurry... why is it so blurry? I read the FAQs and somehow they're not helpful at all. Does anyone have any ideas how I can get the picture to stay sharp after I've uploaded it? Help, please? I hope it's better now...

Glee! It's like all my favourite things in one picture -- Jeavons!Lestrade being rumpled and adorable and getting taken care of, and Watson being a caretaker (is that Solomin!Watson? That certainly looks like a Solomin suit. If so, double squee!), and Holmes being at least tolerant (and barefoot. Hee~). The colours and detail and shadows are all lovely -- I'm especially taken with the socks drying in front of the fire.

While my Lestrade is pretty much all Colin Jeavons, the way I imagine Holmes and Watson is more or less a mashup of the Granada series, my imagination and other influences. It's very likely that Solomin!Watson is in there somewhere (since the whole Russian Sherlock Holmes was amazing and I enjoyed it immensely ).

Lovely. In the thumbnail Holmes looks coldly vacant,in the actual picture he's actually smiling fondly: I think this is Holmes summed up in one painting And Watson with tea! Lestrade is absolutely perfect too, this painting makes me feel warm. <3

I've had to downsize it quite a bit to get it to not be all blurry and I'm afraid their expressions suffered a bit because of that.

Aaaaw so cuuute! Good choice to depict a scene of domestic comfy-ness with a fire and a tea-pot. Watson is dashing even when seen from behind. And the Inspector has a red nose! *eeeep* Really good Granada-likeness on both Holmes and Lestrade.
Is that a man walking a dog on the painting to the right btw?
