Absolutely beautiful.
The overcast shading in the eyes contrasts perfectly with the 3d effect nose and jaw. It's so hard to get that balance of white whiskers and black wrinkles you've done on the snot and chin.

Oh, I almost forgot...may I ask what kind of coloured pencils you use?

I use Prismacolour (they are the same colour range as the discontinued Karisma Colour, which I'm starting to run out of!). I really like them - soft and blendable, though they can break a little easily and are a bit pricy!

Thanks for the information! Last week I've ordered a set of Faber-Castell Polychromos coloured pencils (I'm waiting for them to be delivered). I'm not very good with coloured pencils but I hope it will improve if I use them more often... Anyway, thanks again! Much appreciated

No problem The best advice I can give is to use the pencils lightly and to layer the colour as it's very rare for a single pencil to give the exact colour that you're after. I did a horse portrait that used 4 or 5 different pencils to achieve the right tone in some places.

This is so beautiful! I have a boxer myself, and this is a wonderful representation of the adorable classic boxer look <3
