Even though she still looked cool as a cucumber, I could tell a weight was lifted off her shoulders. "Thank you so much, Ms Jones. I'm sure this match is going to be magnificent with you in it."

I nodded. "You do realize y'all didn't need to give me a bonus to get me in that ring right? I may not know Queen Eve too well, but I'd still do anything to help her and by extension, you, out."

Valery smiled. "I will keep that in mind for future matches."

After that, the two of us chit-chatted for a few minutes about the match and when it would be taking place. Unfortunately, and understandably, Valery stated she needed to get back to work. I nodded in appreciate and we shook hands, then left her office. My smile faded as I realized the extend of who my opponent was. I was going to have to make sure to do Eve proud with this match.

"Eve...this one will be for you!"
