Finally! I knwo everyone's been dying for a ridiculous, unnecessarily long, unhelpful semi-realism tutorial, yes?
Hah. Well I made it anyways.
I'm hesitant to call it a tutorial. Its more of a walk-through of what I did in this drawing. BUt I hope it helps anyways

I just have one question though. After I've completed the shading layer I then make the color layer above and set it to multiply with 40-70% opacity, and it never looks right. With 100% opacity you can see the highlights, but the main color turns way dark. With lower opacity you can hardly make out highlights, but the main coat color looks about right. Are there any tricks to get the perfect combination? Your color just looks so full and bright and perfect.
