Sketch of my favorite kung-fu character Wong Fei Hung. This is one of Fei Hung's poses in Once Upon A Time in China movies. I really liked the loose shape of his tunic when he's moving, so I tried doing a quick sketch while watching him.Related content

did you know Wong Fei Hong is a real person? The stories may not be entirely accurate but they're about a true character in Chinese History. Jet Li is the man for that, he writes and directs all those movies!

Nice picture, Quan Taking from the original 90 Wong Fei Hung movies portrayed Wong Fei Hung better then Jet Li did though, Jet Li just got the hair style more correct in the OUaTiC series.

Well he was actually a real person, the movies are just dramatization of actual events and fights. There was actually a man named Wong Fei Hung who was a Chinese doctor, and a martial artist.

Really nice. I am a huge fan of the Once upon a time in China movies. Did you get to see Fearless? Great movie as well. You did a great take on the character.

Oh yeah I like the OUATC series better as well. I am doing a comic now with Wong Fei Hung as the lead character but I am making him a kid, like in Iron Monkey.
