Pretty clever technique. I use a plug-in for After Effects now for my lens flares, otherwise I'd totally give this a go.

Yeah thats thing, I don't like using a filter in an another program, it doesnt feel original to me.

Well, that's the great thing about the filter (Optical Flares) is that you can customize it any way you want. Any shapes, sizes, artifacts, color, it just gives you the tools to do what you did, but in an optimized, intuitive way. So, you can create your own original, custom flares, or combine different types. It's pretty cool, but I can see why some might not be into it.
