KNOWN ISSUES:
* Coming out of screen saver, skin gets broken and doesnt work until reloading. (Looking for a fix)
* after sleeping the PC and awaking it, skin gets broken and doesnt work until reloading.
* On multi-monitor setups, some people experienced their non-primary desktop taskbar reverts to original taskbar. I don't know the exact cause and I can't reproduce it on my PC.

I made a skin that deactivates this if a window is maximized.
You can find it here .

This also eliminates the issue that brakes the skin after the sleep or screen-saver.

Does adding "OnWakeAction=!Refresh" to the [Rainmeter] section of the INI resolve the "sleeping the PC and awaking it..." issue? It seems to be working for me.

The thing with multi-monitor setups. When you tab in and out of a game the non-primary desktop taskbar will revert to the original taskbar. I hope you'll resolve this soon

On dual monitors, it works fine. However, the moment you click the windows button on your second monitor (not primary) the regular non-translucent taskbar returns.

Multi-monitor sort of works for me. On my primary monitor, the taskbar is translucent and blurry (which is what I want). On my secondary monitor, the taskbar is translucent but not blurry. Anyone know how to fix this?

I don't know if anyone else has/had this problem but I recently upgraded from an AMD to an Intel CPU and after that upgrade my chrome got "bigger" and I can now see a grey bar in my taskbar, does anyone know how to fix this?

You can disable this when you head to settings in chrome and disable the hw acceleration

i've been having this same problem for awhile now. i thought it was due to a windows update, however. it's really annoying but there's probably nothing they can do about it since it's likely a chrome issue and not a rainmeter issue.

Pressing the windows button on a secondary monitor brings back the taskbar on that monitor. Works totally fine on 1 monitor though.

Thank you for this, but I am new in rainmeter, you have an instruction how to put color on the taskbar, however I do not know how to ad dummy meter? found this on the Rainmeter forum: "You can also add a dummy Meter with SolidColor=0,255,150,50 behind the taskbar and slightly change the effect." If you can let me know how to do this? thank you very much! Cheers!

for those who have problems with the taskbar on a 2nd screen.
In the right bottom corner there is this little up showing arrow - clicking on it will open a box where you will find the rainmeter symbol
click on it and a new window will open
in this window on the left side there is a folder called TranslucentTaskbar
In this folder is the "Sample.ini"
click on it
then look for the buttom "Display Monitor"
tick the lowest box "Auto-select based on window position"
done
That helped me with my 2nd screen. I hope I could help you!
Cheers

I am especially stupid/not a coder. How exactly do you disable the blur?

hey! so to fully disable the blur, you click rainmeter, go to Sample.ini under the TranslucentTaskbar folder, click "edit", and at the bottom below UpdateDivider=1 type AccentState=2. hope this helps!

simply click on close and it will end the skin

My mistake, I meant that Arkenthera gives what looks like commands under a header titled "To disable Blur" which seems like it would make the taskbar completely transparent. Unfortunately I don't know what to do with them. I know I can just end the script and bring back normal Windows taskbar. Thanks anyway, those were very detailed instructions.

Luckily for you, I know what to do with them. So anyways, start editing sample.ini and if you scroll all the way down, you'll find UpdateDivider=1
Press enter then press space and then type: AccentState=2
This will make your taskbar completely trasparent except for the stuff on it.
Hope this helped!

I'm sorry but that's a Problem I can't solve neither. I seems to me there is no option to change the Trancparency.
But I´m not enough into rainmeter to be 100% sure. I hope you'll figure it out soon.
Greetings

And downloaded version from here shows 1.0 in rainmeter, not 1.2
