Additional Notes: Updated with 'original looking' UVs. I found a method to bake both UV layers to a new layout and therefore the hair alpha fits perfect on the diffuse now.

i'll check out the uvs. how are the uvs on other character models? are adam models the only ones that tend to be special?

It's not directly a UV problem since the UVs fit on the main part of the diffuse^^ The Alpha channel is kinda weird. It seems like the engine calculates it somehow.
Most character models have that (even though i didn't check all of them yet). Maybe the alpha is in a second UV channel?
Well the game has weird shaders anyway so i'm not easiyl surprised xD i had to add a logo on his face texture and on the arm and somehow imitate mini specular maps to fake ingame appearance. They surely went berserk on this one xD

is 0000047f.dds what you used for the beard diffuse texture? that is one ugly, low-quality texture lol. that can't possibly be the full diffuse texture. i will check the files today and see if there is also a second UV channel or any other texture maps that belong to this model.

That was the default one yeah... i didn't manage to get a proper alpha on that so i redid it xD

check ur pms on sticklove i sent u a link with a blend file that contains the multiple UV channels.
