As some of you know already, my Mother died on New Year's Eve.I collapsed to the floor when I was informed my mother was dead. I couldn't feel my hands...
Then I saw this Unfinished Painting. Calling me.
I have unfinished Business.
I will CELEBRATE the DEATH of My MOTHER by doing ART. The most LOUDER, FIERCE and AMAZING Art. By playing LOUD MUSIC and DANCE. That's how she would want it.
I'm going to CELEBRATE the DEATH of My MOTHER by giving you my BEST.

Just past the 10th anniversary of losing my mother...the pain doesn't fully fade and the hole doesn't fully close up. But you find a way to use the pain and emptiness to move forward...discover new ways to lessen the sensations or increase other ones. Live and create art, Armando!

I was so excited to see the finished product in my watched deviations after eagerly anticipating this for so long, then I read the comment and felt guilty for feeling so happy about something so....material, I guess. But I'm also happy for you that you have channelled these emotions and found something to pour them into. I don't even need to tell you that this picture is beyond wonderful and showcases your phenomenal talent as always.
You have my deepest sympathy, I lost my grandma just a couple of weeks ago and then had to have my much loved cat put to sleep just a few days ago when we found out how incurably sick she was, so 2018 hasn't got off to a great start for me, either. But you have to keep moving forwards and I'm glad you seem to be doing just that.
You have the love and support of everyone here.
