Description
This design was based off of the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim video game's steel battleaxe and such, so it's not mine. i made tweaks so it would be more sturdy for larp use. still need to bulk up the handle a bit, shorten it a little, p-dip and paint the pommel and blade areas, and wrap the handle in faux leather, or real leather. i don't care which. it has been fun to make, and will be fun to swing all over the place.Related content

it has a few kinds on it. the blade is made out of the eva you get for matting exercise room floors and floors for kids play areas and such. it is grey on one side and colored of the other and comes in puzzle squares. on top of that is craft foam you can get at hobby stores. the pommel is made from some of the floor mat foam (you can see the strip of blue that is on the other side of it), and two different sizes of pipe insulation foam you can get at menards or lowes or whatever. right now you can't really see the foam on the blade cause i've already covered it in fabric before i put on the more decorative craft foam layers that i will engrave and paint. that was a lot more than what you asked, but i'm in a ranty mood, and for that i apologize.
