This is my first attempt at a LARP gauntlet, and I am EXTREMELY pleased with the results! very functional gauntlet, will be paired with some heavy bracers and a single pauldron/chestpiece combo for more of a berserker look. can't wait to get this far with the rest of my armor now that i know i can actually do it! this is all craft foam, hot glue, plastidip and acrylics on top of an old black work glove. love it.Related content

may i ask how you bend your fingers? it isn't very apparent in the photo unless there is a sort of hidden seam.... sorry i'm just curious. this gauntlet is amazing!

This shows the bend. The knuckle plates are attached to the plate just below it on the side towards the base of the hand, if that makes much sense.

thanks much, man! I definitely have learned patience over time working in these LARPy mediums, because being impatient yields very poor results when all is said and done. i'm in the process of making an actual set of more elven looking gauntlets and bracers, not just a single glove! i stopped working on this stuff for a while, but so glad i'm back into it!
