Following on from Summer size sharing
Rhea had wanted that moment to last forever, but regrettably it had to end. She put Byleth down and, using the same technique as before, shrank herself and grew Byleth to their previous proportions. Rhea was rather disappointed to find herself small again, but she was soon to become even smaller.
"Now then Professor, listen carefully. Start by closing your eyes." Rhea instructed. Byleth was quick to obey.
"Imagine a string in the air, connecting me to you. Then imagine a light seeping through it, and draw it into your body."
Byleth seemed to be following her instructions well, for she was soon growing. At the same time, Rhea was shrinking, smaller and smaller in the sand. It was a little worrying for the tiny archbishop, as it seemed she might shrink down to nothing. She called out to the Professor to stop. By the time she did, Rhea stood little taller than her ankle.
From the way Byleth's eyes widened, it was obvious she was surprised to see the reduced Rhea, even knowing what was to happen. She reached down and picked up the smaller woman, carrying her carefully in her hand.
Rhea wasn't sure she would like this. However, now that she was in the safe, soft hands of the Professor, she felt a warm feeling in her chest. Just as she felt a strong desire to keep Byleth safe when she was small enough to fit in her hand, she felt that Byleth would likewise look after her in her tiny state.
"Is this better?" The shrunken Rhea smiled.
"Yes. I can fight like this, and you can support me." Byleth nodded.
"I see. Then, this shall be fine." Rhea agreed.
"Although... I'm still a bit shorter than usual." Byleth noted.
Rhea paused, pondering something for a moment.
"Professor, I believe it is possible for you to fight at your full size." Rhea reported after a moment. "And, if that is possible, then I can also be bigger..."
