Geez, it's certainly been a hot minute, hasn't it deviantART? Well it's obviously been a few years since my last upload, and I've actually learned quite a few things in the meantime, and I've done plenty of sketching and drawing since then (I've just been doing a lousy job uploading and sharing it, lol).

So obviously, any work I've done before has either been "abandoned" or has continued to evolve, such is the case with my Sonic fan character, Hero here. This is sort of a reference sheet I've frankensteined together out of various sketchbook drawings I've done over the months, and since there's lots of dumb silly ideas I've drawn in these things, there's plenty of back content I can throw on here to make up for lost time. And obviously I'll try to do new stuff as well, can't let that fire die (again).

I'm almost always touching up and refining this guy in particular. He's near and dear to my heart, and yeah his whole 8th Chaos Emerald origin story is still just as fan-fictiony cringe as ever, but it's too fun of a concept to let go of and I think that genuine authentic "fanishness" is part of the charm. Hopefully I'll have more time to elaborate on the changes I've made in later submissions(assuming any of you care that much, lol), but for now, here's a new and hopefully improved Hero the Hedgehog™, my Original The FanCharacter, do not steal, nyuk nyuk nyuk (but seriously, do not steal him, ya jerks. I love you). XD
