Description
download OFTEN typefaceHello,
this is my never-ending type project Often. My first drawings were inspired by Albert-Jan Pool's DIN typeface (which was a redesign of the german DIN 1941) and the bestseller Gill Sans by Eric Gill.
I tried to smooth and blend the harsh and letterhead style of DIN with the elegancy and roundness of Gill Sans.
Hope you like it, feedback appreciated. Thanks.

What an outstanding typeface! Truly elegant and I love the lines! The tail of your g is adorable! So is the lovely little curve at the join between the crossbar and the stem on the t.
Okay, so where can I get a commercial version. I'll buy it with pleasure.

I like the uniqueness of the g also the kern value between wi. Why doesn't the kern value between vi match wi?
Is it possible to use this for student projects also?

Very interesting design. I feel you have achieved a very nice blending of typefaces. I especially like the way the wi kern together. Why doesn't vi have the same kern value? Why is it true type rather than open type?
Is it possible to use this typeface for school projects?

hello,
i am the editor of my high school newspaper.
we are not well funded and were searching for free fonts when we came across often.
I love this font. It is exactly what I wanted to begin my redesign of the newspaper.
I was wondering if I could have permission to use this font.
We are a nonprofit paper, meaning we give out papers to our student body and business community.
I could include your name and acknowledge you as author of this font in our staff box if we are allowed to use this font.
Please let me know as soon as possible.
my email is ejharms@ymail.com
Thank you,
Liz

Muito bom mesmo, possui um ar simplista e futurista, mas sem perder legibilidade.
Os comentΓ‘rios sobre os "Y"s e "G"s sΓ£o bem interessantes.

I like the y, it just doesn't go with the font though. No doubt it's a great font. +fav'd.

nice set!
w, i, t is beautiful!
May I suggest something? The arc in characters like o p q are a little bit too boxy. they are like pressed upside down let them breath!
keep up the good work, arpad! (its a hungarian name... wow!)
