Ladies and gentlemen, I give you my latest font design, PB Typeface. All work under construction, will be for sale at Myfonts in 2009, as well as Often, in light, regular and bold weights.Combining caps with non-caps, this font's strong side is the mesh between the typographic German school (Bauhaus) and the Art Nouveau style from the 30's in France. The objective was to combine the logical geometry with round and elegant shapes and still get that extra readability in small sizes.
This is my first attempt at tall "cafe" fonts, I've always admired them. Comments and favourites are welcome.

Looks great my friend, I understand indeed what a coincidence! This style of font is not something that it is completely original, we just have to try and give our personal touch to it

What programs do you use to make them? I assume illustrator is one of them, but how do you make them workable and downloadable?

No Illustrator, just CorelDraw to vectorize the scans and then, Font Lab does it all!

great font my friend..the only thing that doesn't look balanced is letter 'K' . i think the lower part slips too much. other than that its great

I think its a nice font, I'd just say why do you have square serifs on the letter "i" I think you should take it away, it'd match more with the rest of the type, it looks like a slab serif type.. just my opinion though, anyways nice work
