Description
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you my latest font design, PB Typeface. All work under construction, will be for sale at Myfonts in 2009, as well as Often, in light, regular and bold weights.Combining caps with non-caps, this font's strong side is the mesh between the typographic German school (Bauhaus) and the Art Nouveau style from the 30's in France. The objective was to combine the logical geometry with round and elegant shapes and still get that extra readability in small sizes.
This is my first attempt at tall "cafe" fonts, I've always admired them. Comments and favourites are welcome.
Regards,
JoΓ£o

That looks really good already.
You should pay a little more attention to the height of your rounded letters. They somehow optically look a bit smaller than the rest.
Good stuff so far though.
Can't wait to see it finished

Thank you. As for your recomendation, the x-height of round letters is bigger actually but I can still find some visual mistakes

yea thats an awesome typeface, but i agree with loincandy, the TOP of the rounded letters should be extended. the bottom of the rounded letters look good to me.

No thank you -- you gave me some ideas of how to do the lowercase of my own font.
Since it's still under construction, how would you feel about tweaking the K? That's the one letter that sticks out to me because of the bottom leg sticking out.

Maybe make the leg of that K look more like the R? Just a thought.
