Name: John
Pronouns: He/It/They
Personality: Unknown - to most, appears to act only to further his word focus. Sometimes smooth & calculating. Ambitious. Little regard for others. A jerk.

Bio: A powerful and very dangerous Wicked Paralogos, John seems to oscillate between fast-talking and feral with little notice. Consumed by his word focus, his ultimate goal seems to be nothing less than indiscriminate corruption of everything around him, but his capacity to use both careful subterfuge and wanton destruction to achieve it makes him surprisingly difficult to stop. An accident having long since befallen his original caretaker, John is a roaming Paralogos, willing to inhabit most places to evade scientists who would seek to restrain him, and only temporarily aligning with humans foolish or depraved enough to think they can borrow his powers for their own ill purposes. It seems as if such a creature would be incapable of forming meaningful relationships with others - and while that is 99.999% true, he does appear to have a certain degree of loyalty to Sigrid . But then again, who could dislike Sigrid?

Tier 1 Magic:

1. Has a short-range "corrupting aura:" technology becomes glitchy/malfunctions, living creatures may experience headaches & visual hallucinations, plants wilt. These effects are temporary/relatively mild but worsen with prolonged exposure.

2. Constantly drips acrid, tenacious black goo. Direct contact results in a more severe effect similar to described above, depending on amount of contact. Goo will dissipate slowly over time.

3. Physically distorts in appearance over time, with features appearing to stretch/elongate and in general become more "horrific."

Design Notes:
Build is tall and sickly-looking, with visible ribs and a long tail
Very drippy, especially on face, hands, and tail
Lights on lower half of body & tail are jagged and random, & can appear as stretchy/torn as the artist is comforable with
Always wears his tie! Sunglasses are optional, typically worn in public to appear (?)less(?) conspicious
Fin appears to be in a constant state of decay
Please feel free to draw him with any level of horror and glitchy effects/distortions provided they are tagged appropriately (including potential eyestrain)
