i loved the books
dont liek the glow/stroke thing arround the planet.
should be blurred a bit more i think.

I love how you did the sun light, and how you textured the planet. I, however, dont like how you did the stars. They just look too fake. If you go and look at hameeds gallery you can see a pretty good example of making stars varying in size.

The nebula is also kinda overdone since its the typical difference clouds filter. Try some painting instead of letting photoshop do it for you in that respect.
