The perspective confuses me. Is she looking up to the entrance of a tall glowing mysterious structure OR is she falling off a cliff and into a massive weird swimming pool.

....You're really having trouble seeing what she's doing despite her legs being planted/placed firmly on the ground structure set in front of the portal? A person whom is free falling out of the sky does not have a very static pose such as this. Their limbs would be out stretched as if trying to reach out to something/pushing against the air.

i would assume they did whats called "editing" lots of it isn't actually there you see. srry to be a smart ass but iv seen models just as detailed.

YES its a REAL model. Did you not read in his details that they were lego pieces? He constructed the shape of the portal with the lego pieces and then did a crap load of editing the photo in photoshop.
