Good looking axe, but I never understood why axe's shaft bends backwards.

Well, the by bending the shaft backwards the axe head gets a smaller reach in a battle. The axe head is heavy and the weight will be focused on the bend on the shaft. If a strike is hard enough it just might break because of the the strain on it. Other than that I don't really have any complaints.

Well, it is based on a video game(a very good video game) based on a fantasy setting. A replica should as similar as possible even if it would be impractical in the real world.

Lovely replica of one of my favourite weapons. the metal painting, sculpting and painting is very well achieved. The Bone too looks equally good. The piece has a weighty, gritty, powerful feel and looks like it weighs a tonne and would take the strength of a great warrior to lift it. A really beautiful job upon all aspects of this weapon.
