I've been playing Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, and decided to do some chibi portraits of the characters therein, inspired largely by *bleedingcrow's [link]

The plesioth, commonly known as Plessy, is a large, semi-aquatic wyvern that eats frogs. I find them quite irritating because when they're in the water (which is over half the time) you can't hit them with melee weapons. Favouring the hammer, and completely avoiding ranged weapons, this vexes me to no end. >
In any case, I based the anatomy here on older tadpoles. Quite proud of this one and will offer prints if there is interest, since the resolution's high enough to make decent sizes possible.

Done in copics on bristol board, then fixed up a bit in Fireworks.
