I like this alot - an old dude who used to be a bit of a brawler it looks like!! The only thing I'd say is that old folks usually have less bright/crisp eyes - eyes and eye colour tends to be much more watery and 'rheumy' as they call it. Incredible textures...

Thank you, I def. need to play with the eyes...I know they arent completely there yet...prolly just go and paint over top of them in photoshop or something...hmm.

Yeah that would be a much simpler way of doing it i'd imagine rather than going back into the 3D program? Never used 3D so wouldn't know
He's way cool though - i've been doing a wrinkly dude for Q&A's for imagineFX and chose an old warrior type dude rather than wizened old fart so I'm totally feeling the ex wrestler/fighter vibe here!

Nice work. But I see some odd shapes in his forehead wrinkles. They are usually parallel.
The bottom part of the face looks way older and "fallen" then the upper parts, I find it a little imbalanced.
Also the definition of the old skin, Usually it falls down with gravity, here it almost looks like you used zbrush's crumple brush. XD
Anyway, Its always nice to see your work, hope I can have your skill someday.

Thanks for commenting and for the critique! I totally agree with you...infact after creating the textures, I found a lot of things in the geometry that I would change. It was a great learning experience!

only problem I see is that the eye texture seem to be of higher resolution than himself =/

Skin textures are absolutely brilliant. What did you use for rendering?
Some remarks about the model: now it looks like lower portion of face is too short (or maybe upper is too high). Also the face looks little bit too folde, even for old man. Strangely, but I did not see this issues when you uploaded wip shots. Maybe SSS effect impacted it.

Thanks you! I had a lot of fun painting the skin for sure!
I totally agree with you, if I could go back to the zbrush model, I would change a lot of things on this model, it was a great learning experience!
