Description
The PrinceIt was a scary idea to me to attempt to make a character from one of my favorite shows of all time, Dragonball Z. Not to mention, I would be doing my own rendition of a character that was created by Akira Toriyama, my favorite artist of all time. The lats thing I would want to do is destroy one of his amazing designs. I hope that this rendering embodies all that Vegeta is...
I hope my rendition in 3D reflects his notorious arrogant pride and short lived brash attitude. His evil tempered heart, molten and smoking with rage.
Programs used:
ZBrush (Sculpting and rendering with BPR.)
3dsMax (Blocking out geometry.)
Photoshop (Comping render passes from ZBrush, and making final adjustments.)
Topogun (Recreating head geometry for sculpting.)
Roadkill (For unwrapping geometry.)

I absolutely love this. The only question I have is about his eyebrows, did you intentionally leave them off? Other than that, I seriously give you props for such an a well done model as well as texture. Also, his expression is perfect.

Hi, thank you so much for the kind words! I tried the eye brows, but they just didnt fit with this visual style. I may try and pursue this in the future. Esp. since I may be making more DBZ models when I find the time. Glad you liked it and thanks for commenting!

Hey no problem. I wish I could learn more about using modeling programs like that. I design indie games, but all my work is pixel art. Do you know of any tutorials that could help me with the basics? Sorry if i'm being a bother

Omg it's PERFECT! I mean the expression on his face! You did a perfect job on it! THe only thing I would give feedback is give him thicker eyebrows like he has in the manga. That's it!

I love how you actually made him not that handsome like most fangirls would draw him. Bravo for not going too mainstream. Also when I saw this picture and read your description of him I really felt that when looking at his expression. I also somehow saw "Envy" in his eyes, which is also a trade he has in the manga.
