I was veeeery lucky with that picture...! I don't know the odds for a jumping spider to jump right on the extremity of a pen. The little one was jumping here and there on my desk at the same moment I was going to transfer some image from my camera to my computer. Boom! It jumped right on top...stood there for a minute or so! I was trilled and stressed, cause I didn't want to lose that scene. A jumping spider on the top of a ''mountain''!?

I didn't have my reflex camera then yet so the quality of a compact camera is not something much impressing

Still, I don't know why it jumped there...! To watch me? Maybe!
I just watch your two pictures, I agree that the sharpness is not ''top'', but you did a very good job with what you had! I love the first one for the type of spider and the second one for the complete scene! Just beautiful!
