The Under-Loved, Vol. 15This is a feature for the under-loved, so as always, each of these pieces has less than 300 s and less than 100 comments (at the time I added them to the feature), so please do show these artists and authors some love for their work. Some of these may have been featured as Daily Deviations, but please don't let that stop you from offering the artists critique if they still have that feature enabled!
I'm formatting this one just a little differently; please do tell me which format you find preferable if you've looked at previous features for CritiqueCollectors.
Thank you!!!

You are very welcome! Congrats on the DD feature - it's a terrific photograph and certainly a very much more unique subject than what I'm accustomed to seeing as "Still Life" photography. And you did such a wonderful job with the presentation of the subject as well. The limited focus works perfectly for this piece, and the blur technique you used definitely keeps the eye on the needle and the groove while not omitting the other elements of the scene so that we "get the full picture", so to speak.
Brilliant work - I do thank you for sharing it, and I was happy to be able to feature it!

General Photography DD Round-Up: October 2015:iconcommunityrelations: Welcome!
This month the general photography CVs - Kaz-D, tiganusi and myself - set a total of 88 DDs across nearly every gallery we cover! Many thanks to everyone who's suggested to us, and as always we need more suggestions so don't be shy! Our guidelines are linked at the bottom of this article, and we tend to get a lot more People and Portraits suggestions than anything else so bonus points if you send us great pieces from the "weird" galleries. Self-suggestions are always welcome if you have a piece of your own that you think we should see!

A nice close-up!
However, as a talking machine collector, I would question the angle of the needle: it seems to be almost vertical, whereas the proper angle should be about 60 degrees.
I'm not sure about the soundbox, either: it looks very like a "Crapophone" box from India or China, rather than any original reproducer.
As before: a nice photo, but my inner geek keeps raising these questions....

Thank you for your comment.
You will have most of your answers if you look at the title of the picture. It need to be read on a second level...! Without telling you all about the message I wanted to give, I will let you know that it reflect the fact that sometimes, in life, things go wrong and not always go the way we want to (things could go out of track, you're not always able to maintain an upright or good position during play). In general, my pictures need to be taken on another level and the subject is more a ''vehicle'' of an idea about life.
About the second part of your message, I don't see the link between the latter and the fact that I did a close up of the subject. I didn't want to show the entire piece, but a focus...!
Nonetheless, I can see what you want, but it will be unanswered (at least, for now...)! I will probably publish another picture with more details of the ''machine''!
Once again, thanks for the comment!! Hehe! Have a great day...!
