I'm currently playing through the Yakuza games 1 to 2 on PS2.For those that don't know; it's a roaming beat-'em-up/RPG set in the underworld gangster circuit of Tokyo & Osaka.
To be honest you have to be pretty patient with this series, it's flawed in some ways but for everything it does wrong it seems to do right in return, and has some kind of irresistible appeal.
I urge people to try it but maybe start with Yakuza 2(it explains the back story)that was finally released in usa & europe a few weeks back. Incidentally a spin off is available for PS3 and a sequel is currently in the works which looks amazing!!!

haha, this is great! I love Yakuza 1, and im up to chapter 4 in yakuza 2. Yakuza 3 is why i also bought a PS3 (and Uncharted 2)
but anyways, love Haruka's expression.

Yeah, March can't come soon enough! I have watched the japanese trailer with Kazuma and Haruka doing karaoke like 10 times or more. The game looks beautiful!

Sounds like an interesting sorta game. I admit that when I looked at that title on the shelves, I just glanced elsewhere XD I like their expressions - impatience huh ?

It's become a little cult game I guess, sometimes you take a chance on some games and it turns out to be a good idea, but i'm sure as many people liked Yakuza as those that didn't and equally those that just didn't care!

Japanese girls do this puffy cheeks kind of thing to show they are annoyed, it is supposed to look cute and is undeniably so. It's also very difficult to draw but looks vaguely like that!
