yes, i wonder how many SH fans aren't just fans of the movie/movie-Pyramid Head. i've played SH1,2,3,4 but not 5 yet. someday...TAT!!! (though from what I've seen I like Team Silent's SHs better already, alas..)
BUT YAYAYAY I must say, lovely shading. I love me a good oekaki and great coloring sense

This brings back memories, poor Harry, felt for him so much, hes so sweet, Heather's so lucky (wish he never died, i cried at his death scene in SH3 and the ending credits with the vocal version of the SH theme)
Im really lookin forward to the remake, even though im not very fond of Harry's new makeover...
The game looks great, and im eager to try it out, looks even more scarier with the new gameplay, i jumped when i watched the trailer.

Also I agree with the plan to bring a new yet familiar experience to SH and the changing scenarios according to the individuals play style sounds amazing !

After seeing SH5 Homecoming, i was really impressed with the out come done by the new comapany doining it (i think their called CLiMAX, their based over here in the UK, if im lucky enough, i may get to join them someday if i cant get in CAPCOM 
Dhalia looks so much like Heather (which makes sense since they are mother and child), im eager to see how she turned into a mad evil cult mother burning her poor child. Cant wait to play it, i cant stop watching the trailer, looks so good

OMG...the first Silent Hill was the very first survival horror game I'd ever played... my husband and gotten up to use the bathroom so I was all alone, in the dark playing when this scene happened... boy did it send chills right up my spine!
I can't remember which track, but I was listening to the soundtrack the other day (I love listening to the SH soundtracks when I draw) and they had this audio in the middle of one of them...yeep!

Yes I totally agree,
that scene is very memorable some how, even though it's quite short. It really brought home the situation Harry was in and a real cinematic moment !

I'm actually looking forward to the remake, I like the look and no combat element, also the team(Climax) did a pretty good job with Origins/Zero but I have my reservations of course ...

It's only because of the whole new looks of the characters,
On one of the pictures they released, Cybil was a brunnette and looked like a man =O

I have watched my friend play the game but I have also played the game from beginning to the hospital (1st time, of course) I don't really remember much of the game though

Oh, I dig the original...I layed through SH3 first, fell in love with Harry through his diary and the way Heather talked/remembered him. From that, I just had to witness his journey through the town... in short, I love you, Harry!
And, I remember this moment so well. It was chilling... And, after the phone goes dead, Harry just kinda stands there, "Cheryl...?" I felt so bad for him...

LOL Harry's look of pure terror here was also the look I had on my face all throughout my first playthrough.

The original is my fav! My best speed run time is 47 minutes, but I did do the UFO ending to achieve that time so it may not count.

back in the days, the ps1 was such a cool gaming system
i had sh1 but never beat it, the guy who i borrowed the game from moved before i finished the game. never played it again. i think the guy left with one of my game too, sick bastard lol.
i remember from the 1st game, the incredible thing was the camera work. you know, the first time you go into that little street which get smaller and smaller, and as you walk in, the camera's angle is just more and more tortured. it was amazing!

I remember way back around '97-98 I saw a little screenshot in a gaming magazine of it and I was like - look at this horror game set in a foggy town called silent hill! And my friends reaction was " . . . . "
Later we played the demo that came with metal gear solid and i'll never forget my reaction to that beginning part, it was totally unique at the time
