Here's the first half of the Gino vs. Godzilla picture, i.e. the Gino half. It's taken a few weeks, especially since i put it on the back burner for about 3 weeks for smaller, earsier, quicker deviations. But hey, now it's done for all the world to see.Related content

This is just splendid. One thing I especially like is that in comparison to your Gojira redesign, which is clearly derived from a theropod dinosaur, Gino's appearance reflects its origin as a modern iguanid.

I saw this in your Gallery as a thumbnail, and I honestly thought it was a photo of a toy!
The only critique I have is that he needs a shadow on the ground - not a full background, but just something under him to show how HUGEELY badass he is

Yes "Gino" is the "offical" name Toho gave to the Americanized Godzilla. And the color scheme is movie-accurate. He's a tanish-brown with blue scales, spines.

Actually the official Toho name is Zilla. However his son's name earned the title of Godzilla because he lived up to the reputation.

In the 1998 Godzilla movie it outraged fans so much that they wouldn't call it Godzilla...they gave it 2 nicknames Zilla and Gino

okay just to make things PERFECTLY clear the monster that died from being hit by 12 missiles is GINO and it is female while the monster that got his ass kicked by Godzilla is Zilla and is male.
