HOH wow!! This brings back memories in a whole new way. I loved that movie as a child, the martians were actually spooky. I thought it was oil pastel some other traditional media at first glance. You've got a particular talent for brushwork. C:

It's just Photoshop. It's pretty straightforward. I think one could easily do something similar in Painter or Gimp.
