Description
This creature I did in my favourite style of dark yet colourful. I made the image in greyscale first then colorized it, really helps me to focus on tonal value first, then color second, made for an enjoyable painting process too. I thought it would be helpful to do a tutorial about colorizing black and white images, so I typed one up on my art blog, the link is below for anyone that's interested

This is a fantastic picture. It captures emotion while keeping the concept of the drawing still in tact. I love the imagination you must have used to come up with this idea for a creature.
