I had some memories well up. My aunt Rola, my grandma... family gatherings... I had this image of him with the ribs since he would often cook

for the Joes in the cartoon ( again I am drawing from the cartoon specifically in this series, except the Snakeeyes images )
This is particularly from the "I'm not selling and You aren't Buying" when Cobra used a horrible contract to scam Marvin's Aunt and Uncle's beloved restaurant

"The Red Rocket".

In case you guys are wondering... yes Collard Greens with bacon , french fries, cornbread, mashed potatoes, ribs and it's all for him.
I miss my family, may they rest in peace. beena while since I enjoyed a family gathering, I will never have another because my family is all gone.
hey that's life and I never believed I would miss my three bossladies nagging so much.

edit: I just realzied I painted my grandpa too... well darn...

***also apparently IDW couldn't use Road Block so they gave Marvin, Lamont A. Morris' codename "Heavy Duty" which later on was used in a Gi Joe series , in renegades I believe, Lamont became, Marvin's cousin ( corporal Hershel Dalton). The name according to his aunt was because of his ... um... diaper... yea he pooped a lot.

please correct if wrong, I remember him having a different name and it's confusing.
