i saw this on someone's wishlist. it fascinated me immensely. i'm always interested
in abstract/found object type art.

I'm a huge fan of texture in painting, and the combination of color and thickness is just gorgeous. It has the luminocity of an oil slick or distressed metal. I really appreciate the large fullview, so I can take in fully every inch of of delicate bleeded color. I want to run my hands over this piece so bad! Even the texture of the canvas lends itself to the the way the paint washes sit over each other. This is definitely a fave, it's beautiful.

The opening went very well. It was a lot of fun and I met some really great people. I'm going up next Friday (for the Third Friday). That one is supposed to be more laid back, but the more serious buyers come out.
