Edit 12/10/2014: deviantArt has made a lot of changes since this tutorial was first made so I finally went back and corrected it. You do NOT have to be a premium member to have stamps. Just follow the steps in the tutorial.
I'm not sure if someone has made this before. They probably have and have done a better job.
BUT I get this question quite often so I've made this to link people to when they ask. I feel like I can show better than tell.

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, it does not seem to work for me. Everytime I put the thumb code in the Description box of my work, it just shows up as the thumb code. Is there a step that I am missing?

I'm having a slight issue posting multiple stamps on a single line in a custom box. Only three stamps can be on a line at any time, regardless of breaks or returns.
